Itinerary

4 days | Departing Vancouver

Your adventure begins this morning with a scenic ferry ride to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. This 1.5-hour sailing is incredible. Walk around the ship decks and keep an eye out for dolphins and orcas! We then head across to the thick rainforests of Vancouver Island. We’ll go past waterfalls, lakes and even stop at a stand of 800-year old giant Douglas Fir trees. We make our way into Pacific Rim National Park on the west coast for our first glimpse of the pristine beaches, battered coastlines, and hundreds of islands. Tonight is the first of two in Tofino, a quaint little fishing village. (Dinner included) *Accommodation. If you are booking alternative accommodation, ensure you are booking in a location that is a Moose designated pick-up/drop-off, or one that you are comfortable reaching independently.

With so many optional activities, such as beachcombing, hiking, whale watching, natural hot springs, sea kayaking and surfing to choose from, your stay in Tofino will be nothing short of amazing. Choose one or do a combination! Or simply unplug and find a beach to chill out at.

We’ll head back across the island today along the east coast, passing through Ladysmith, birthplace of Pamela Anderson, and Chemainus, with its giant murals (39 outdoor murals). We’ll spend the night in the lovely provincial capital of Victoria. Enjoy a night out on the town!

Spend the day checking out the inner harbour and city sights, including the Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings, Royal BC Museum, and the waterfront. Victoria is an easy place to explore on foot. In the afternoon, we cruise back to Vancouver and the mainland on another scenic ferry ride.
